Services

4Qimaging core lab services provide economical and efficient image analysis for small studies to large clinical trials.  Our automated approach addresses the fundamental challenges of medical image analysis:

  • Quantitative measurement:  Fully automated analysis and measurement of image data provide precision and reproducibility.
  • Quick results: Automated analysis enables the fast throughput required for high-volume research and larger clinical trials.
  • Quantity:  High-volume image analysis is supported by innovative data management and workflow technology, enabling easy storage, retrieval and transfer of imaging studies.
  • Quality:  Electronic audit trail and analysis results are stored in every analyzed image header, supporting regulatory requirements for traceability.
  • CiPAS - Clinical Image Processing and Analysis System

The foundation of 4Qimaging's clinical software is the commercial version of software developed by Dr. Jose G. Tamez-Pena.  CiPAS is compatible with DICOM-standard image data including Siemens, GE and Phillips formats, enabling automated, high-throughput quantitative analysis of medical images.  Activity and results of analyses are stored in the DICOM header of analyzed images, simplifying the traceability and integrity of image data.
  • Fully Automated Image Analysis

4Qimaging offers fully-automated MRI and CT image segmentation and analysis services, guided by an anatomical atlas created by an expert radiologist for a specific analysis objective.  The high-throughput provided by automation enables significant improvements in reproducibility, efficiency and economics.
  • Complex Knee qMRI Analysis

In addition to traditional morphological (volume, thickness, curvature, etc) and compositional (T2, T1, dGEMRIC, etc) quantification and mapping of bones, cartilage and other soft tissues, 4Qimaging is pleased to provide novel measurements of MRI signal and contrast behavior and 3-dimensional spatial relationships between segmented structures.  These new measurements offer insight into biomechanical effects of injury or disease and sensitive measurements of joint pathophysiology.
  • Medical and Scientific Expertise and Services

4Qimaging offers in-house, fellowship-trained radiological expertise in body and musculoskeletal imaging to support clinical trials.  We provide support from imaging study design to statistical analysis and delivery of results and reports.  We have particular depth in all arthritic diseases, post-traumatic conditions and in spine diseases.  Our imaging scientists are world-leading experts on the application of computational methods for segmentation of images, quantification and analysis of qMRI results.
  • Operational Expertise

Our operational leadership has extensive experience in supporting regulated clinical studies, and associated requirements for process, documentation and auditability that ensure reliable, trouble-free projects.  We comply with GCP and our analysis processes are compliant with 21CFR Pt. 11 requirements.
  • Biomarker Development and Statistical Analysis

4Qimaging offers expertise in extracting, quantifying and testing features detectable in medical images.  In addition, 4Qimaging offers bioinformatics methods for large-scale multivariate analysis of the complex associations between quantitative imaging markers and other indicators of disease state or progression, e.g. clinical symptoms.

4Qimaging has successfully applied CiPAS automated analysis techniques to:

  • Preclinical animal studies
  • Musculoskeletal diseases
  • Device performance assessments
  • Post-traumatic injury assessments
Our approach is readily applicable to multiple therapeutic areas and conditions.  Contact us today to learn how we can assist with your clinical study or clinical trial.
